Past community meeting recaps:
IMHK Town Hall 3/22:
Highlights: Around 200 people attended the empty chair town hall! The livestream recording has been visited over 600 times!
Areas for improvement: Expanding our community aid resources portion at the end. A bigger venue.
Indivisible Rural Caucus call 3/26:
Consider holding a community issues town hall to discuss specific issues. Avoid partisan politics and invite experts to speak as well.
Check out Indivisible’s Truth Brigade for training on how to respond and counter misinformation
Indivisible + 50501 Hands Off! national call 3/21:
Emphasize, when talking to the media, that this is a national event.
This is an opportunity to do new outreach to organizations and communities wherever you live, seeding new relationships.
Teamwork can be hard. We come from all walks of life, and we’re not always going to see eye to eye. We not only need more seats at the table, we need a bigger table entirely. Be kind. Support each other. Work together. Find where you can bring different resources and expertise together.
